Non riesco a far funzionare nessun dwn manager

Ho provato ad installare Jdownloader e nulla, dopo che copio il link e che ho inserito userid e pwd per il file, faccio su avvia e mi sparisce il dwn

Con igetter lo stesso metto userid e pwd e tenta di connettersi all'infinito e mi da sempre un errore....senza riuscire a scaricare il file.

C'è qualche manager che funzioni (Lion) ? Speed Dwn è a pagamento....(non voglio fare pasticci non ho ancora installato nemmeno la valuation copy)
