CPAN fallisce installazione moduli...

Sto tentando da un po' di installare il modulo LWP previa CPAN, ma fallisce l'installazione, come si evince dal ciò che segue:

Make had returned bad status, install seems impossible

Sono ricorso anche alla shell di CPAN per configurarlo usando il comando:

o conf make /usr/bin/make

e salvando con:

o conf commit

Poi ho verificato con:

o conf

se effettivasmente 'make' fosse stato scritto e lo è. Ma allora perchè ogni volta che tento di installare il modulo LWP mi restituisce sempre lo stesso errore? Cosa c'è che non va? Qualcuno mi può aiutare?
