Problema Airport dopo aggiornamento 10.4.8

Allora il problema in poche parole è questo,

All'avvio degli iMac dell'ufficio (sono 3), non si collegano più automaticamente alla rete (di un airport express, rete chiusa e protetta con WPA), devo collegarli manualmente ogni volta, non che sia tutta sta fatica, intendiamoci... però non capisco il motivo, visto che in base alle impostazioni, dovrebbero collegarsi tranquillamente in automatico all'avvio, e invece rimangono scollegati, pur vedendo la rete, finchè appunto non gli dico io di collegarsi.

Prima dell'aggiornamento a 10.4.8 non c'erano problemi, idee per risolvere?

vai in preferenze di sistema->network vai in opzioni e verifica se è impostata così:

era cosi,

ma anche mettendo "Continua a cercare i network recenti", all'avvio rimane sempre scollegato, pur vedendo la rete, e non si collega finchè non glielo dico io

impostalo come il mio e scegli la rete dalla connesione internet, anche a me faceva così, ma prima dell'aggiornamento.

anche se indica wpa2 dvrebbe funzionare lo stesso.

Allora dovrebbe essere il fatto che tu hai una rete con chiave WPA2, quindi copio e incollo l'articolo tecnico dai "mamma" Apple:

Solution

To restore the auto-connect feature:

1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.

2. Select the Network pane.

3. From the "Show:" drop-down menu, choose "AirPort".

4. Make sure the "By default, join:" pop-up menu is set to "Preferred networks." (If it was set to "Automatic networks", you can set it back to Automatic after the next step.)

5. Select any network that shows WPA2 security and use the minus (-) button to remove those networks from the list.

6. Once all WPA2 networks have been removed from the list, use the plus (+) button to add them back. (You will need the appropriate passwords for the wireless network.) If it's more convenient, you can wait to re-add the networks until you use them—when you use a network, it will be added to the list automatically.

7. If in step 3, your default was Automatic rather than Preferred, go ahead and change your default back to Automatic.
