How to capture any image on Mac OS?

I need to capture arbitrary region to use, but the capture software on my computer can't do it. Is there a screen capture program for Mac which can do this? Give me your suggestions，Thanks!

+shift+3: all the screen.

+shift+4: to select the area you want to capture.

In your UTILITY folder i'll find a program for it. I don't remember the name (in italian is "Istantanea", is the app with the scissors icon).

..the correct name in english is "Grab"!

Yes,I have tried Shortcuts Keys for capture screenshot on Mac

Command-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it as a file on the desktop

Command-Shift-4, then select an area: Take a screenshot of an area and save it as a file on the desktop

Command-Shift-4, then space, then click a window: Take a screenshot of a window and save it as a file on the desktop

Command-Control-Shift-3: Take a screenshot of the screen, and save it to the clipboard

My friend have adviced me onde screen capture for Mac,I have tried it,too.Any of them is useful,but the onde screen capture have much more functions than the Mac grab.You can choose the one adjust to yourself.
